A BRIEF COMPANY PROFILE
Bogues Brothers Industries Limited was established in 1939, and has
completed its 67th year of operation. We are a third generation,
family-owned, trading and service company supplying commercial and
industrial equipment to hotels, hospitals, laundries, dry cleaners, food
processors and others. While based in the capital, Kingston, we cover
the entire Jamaica as well as a number of other Caribbean islands. We
recently improved our Head Office facilities at 47 ½ Old Hope Road with
a larger Parts and Customer Service area, and adequate parking. In our
ongoing effort to enable the company to offer the most competitive
prices, items are usually brought in ‘to order,’ plus designs and
layouts done in house by experienced draughts men who work closely with
clients and equipment suppliers.
We have two sales and two service divisions.
A. The
Industrial Equipment Division sells and leases equipment to laundries, dry
cleaners, hotels, factories, hospitals and other institutions. The products
include washer/extractors, dryers, dry cleaning machines, presses, ironers,
boilers, water softeners, pumps, air compressors and related equipment.
B. The
Food Service Equipment Division sells and leases kitchen and food processing
equipment to hotels, hospitals, restaurants and cafeterias. The equipment
includes ice machines, reach-in /walk-in freezers and coolers, dishwashers,
stoves, toasters, kettles, ovens, glassware, utensils and a full range of
Melamine Tableware.
C. Our
Service Division is staffed by factory and in-house trained technicians and
we cover all areas of the servicing and installation of the equipment that
we sell. We also offer after-sales and warranty service together with a
supply of genuine replacement parts.
D.
Bogues Brothers Industries Limited is also the holding Company for Jamaica’s
largest chain of dry cleaning plants and laundromats. Operating under the
trade names of “Spic ‘N’ Span”, “The Fabricare Centres” and ”Express
Laundromats” in Kingston / St. Andrew, St. Catherine, Manchester, St. James
and St. Ann, the Company boasts eleven locations island wide. The whole
operation is characterized by state-of-the art equipment and carefully
trained personnel.
Service and repair is done at our 40A Old Hope
Road Service Centre and a wide range of equipment is on display in our new
showroom at 47B Old Hope Road. Additional equipment is also stored at our
15,000 sq.ft. warehouse/manufacturing and assembly plant at Bull Bay.
Manufacturers’ warranties are honored with
genuine spare parts from our well stocked Parts Department and superior
service rendered by our factory trained technicians.
